Forsyth County

Right up Georgia 400, just north of Alpharetta is Forsyth County, one of Atlanta’s most northern suburbs, as well as one of its most exclusive. Forbes magazine named it one of the wealthiest counties in the United States in 2008. It is also the wealthiest county in Georgia. Many people who work in Atlanta are moving to the area because of its quick commute, as well as its proximity to the beautiful scenery of Lake Lanier and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The only incorporated city there is Cumming, but it is also home to several popular unincorporated communities.
